What is Viagra and why is it different?

Viagra is a new treatment for male erectile dysfunction (impotence). Until the launch of Viagra, erectile dysfunction could only be treated by external methods. These included vacuum devices, injections, implants and medication inserted into the urethra. Viagra, however, comes in tablet form and is taken like any other tablet.
